This fantastic set features a 2012 uncirculated U.S. minted quarter as well as an unused 1959 U.S. stamp . It is an essential part of any volcano fan's collection!
In 1898, Hawaiʻi became a U.S. territory. In 1916, what is now Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park was established and in 1959, Hawaiʻi became a state. The stamp depicts King Kamehameha I and the eight Main Hawaiian Islands, and was a 7-cent stamp when issued. The quarter depicts the erupting cinder cone of Puʻuʻōʻō.
Set created by the National Parks Quarter Program.
